Free Admission Friday tickets are in. We will be working on getting them out to various locations for anyone to grab. These tickets are good for any of the select dates listed on the front of the ticket. Pick up locations to be announced once they are handed out. If you cant make it to one of the locations to get them, dont worry, they can be printed from the Lancaster Motorplex website. Just click on the Free Admission Friday menu tab. Fill out the form and your ticket will be emailed to you instantly. YOU MUST PRINT THE TICKET AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO FRONT GATE. Showing a ticket on your phone will not grant you free admission.
Well, well, well, what's going on here? Looks like track prep is in full swing at Lancaster Motorplex. Mike Frank, Jerry Gasiorowski and John are taking advantage of some nice weather for a change getting the track ready for the upcoming race season. Mike seen here driving the tracks new custom built track scraper. This machine was built by the Frank Brothers, Mike and Kevin along with Jerry Gasiorowski. Mike Frank donated the lawnmower, Kevin Frank donated the steel and hardware for the scraper attachment and Jerry donated the hydraulics to make a one of a kind killer track scraping machine. Mike is giving it a trial run before they put all the finishing touches on it, but so far it performing better than expected. This is just one of the many things going on at the facility this season. Founded in 1959, Lancaster Motorplex is a multi-use facility located on 77 acres just outside of metro Buffalo, N.Y. The facility features a 1/8-mile IHRA drag strip, and a 1/2-mile oval track and hosts several non-motorsports events such as car shows and concerts.
